Introduction

I decided to have a parallel blog in English to my personal one, "A las carreras" (https://lascarreras.blogspot.com/), which is in Spanish. 

So today I will publish all the entries from the month of September.

Starting with this week's entry, which will be next Friday, December 27, it will appear in "A las carreras" in Spanish and in "On the run" in English.

Ready for June fourth

  Race on Wednesday, May 6 Race on Friday, May 9 It's now May 9 and for the first day in the month I don't feel the fresh breeze in the early morning. It's the first time since I had the pool that on my birthday, which was Monday, I didn't go into the pool, I don't remember such a cool start to May. Last week I commented on what it was like to gain confidence, first, and persistence to write “HISTORIA DE LA TIERRA, UNA COSMOGONÍA PERSONAL” and the decision that it was already finished. Summer Has Arrived

  Tuesday's run . Friday's run . I'm reducing my distances now; this week I ran a little less than 8 km on Tuesday and a little over 8 km today. My goal is to keep both weekly runs within that range. Last summer, during the summer, both runs were 6 km, so I want to push myself a bit more. In other words, I'm already getting ready for summer, which has officially begun for me. Yes, the official date is the solstice, which will be next June 20th, in a week. But for me, just as spring begins with the Palo Verde trees blooming, summer starts when the humidity is over 85% at 5:30 AM and you sweat a lot while running.
